Beverly (Schaefer) Robinson

Beverly A. Robinson (Schaefer), 85, of La Crosse, died on Easter Sunday, April 16 ^th, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bev was a graduate of Central High and a lifelong resident of La Crosse. She was a mother and homemaker before going to work as a tax analyst at Trane Company until she retired.   Bev loved her family and would do anything for them.  She had a green thumb and created a bright spot in the world with her beautiful flowers. Bev had a great sense of humor and liked to make people laugh.  She was fun to be around.

Bev is survived by her daughters Lynn Roach (Bob) and Cathi Adams (Rob); five grandchildren, Nick Roach (Lyndsay), Adam Roach (Kasie), Tyler Roach (Sarah), Christopher Adams (Aubrey) and Whitney Malcolm (Matt); and eight great grandchildren, Melanie, Naomi, William, Ben, Katelyn, Emily, Landon, and Isaiah. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Schaefer, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Josephine Schaefer; sisters, Rosie Saunders, Lilah Grosskopf, and Nancy Schaefer; and her former mother-in law, Margaret Robinson, whom she dearly loved.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Eagle Crest South who took wonderful care of Bev. The staff became her second family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 21 ^st , at English Lutheran Church, 1509 King St., La Crosse. Rev. Mark Solyst will officiate. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Children’s Miracle Network, c/o Gundersen Medical Foundation, 1900 South Ave., La Crosse, WI 54601.
