Beverly H. Lautz

Beverly H. (Bartlett) Lautz, 94, passed away in God’s hands from natural causes on January 31, 2018 at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

Born January 27 ^th , 1924, in La Crosse, she was the daughter to the late Herman “Butch” and Hazel (Truax) Meinzer. Beverly graduated from La Crosse Central, going on to work for Gundersen Lutheran as an arrangement designer for a local floral company, and for S&H Sporting Goods in downtown La Crosse. Beverly was united in marriage to the former Waldron “Pete” Bartlett until his passing in 1991. They had three children together in their home under the bluffs of La Crosse.

Beverly then married Louis “Louie” R. Lautz on July 28 ^th , 2002.

Beverly was a gifted cook, a talented curler, a passionate bridge player, and an avid seamstress. More importantly, she was a dedicated wife, caring mother, and loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

Beverly is survived by her 3 children: David Bartlett and his wife Sue, of Holmen, John Bartlett of Middleton, and Elizabeth Way and her husband Robert, of New London; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Don.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
