Andrew James Wuttke

April 25, 1994 — October 11, 2022

Our son, Andrew James Wuttke, 28, passed away quietly in his sleep at his home on October 11, 2022.

We are so heartbroken over the sudden loss of such a wonderful young man. He was loved by everyone in his family and will be missed so much!

Andrew loved his family, having fun with his friends, music, playing guitar, bowling, cooking, time spent at Deer Lake sitting by the fire gazing at the stars, and Halloween, especially Halloween! He was constantly learning new things by watching documentaries and you tube videos and would share and fascinate you with his latest findings. Andrew was a 2012 graduate of Logan High school where he made lifelong friends. His brother Aaron and sister Anna will miss his laugh, smile, teasing, talks, debates, and stories. They have many memories of fun times when they were little and fun times as they grew older.

Andrew was so independent and wanted to live life his way. He was a caring soul who never judged anyone. He had a smile, a “hi” or a “how’s your day going?” for everyone. He had a big heart and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Our hope is to follow his example and do our best every day. We hope that all who knew Andrew will keep fond memories of him in their hearts. Borrowing a quote from one of his friends; Thanks for making everyone think about the world a little harder than they would have!

Andrew is survived by his parents, Dan & Lisa Wuttke. Brother Aaron, (who he nicknamed Boones), sister Anna, (who he affectionately called Peen-Peen), his Grandma, (Nanu), Sharon Olson, (who was his going out to dinner and late-night phone buddy, they would talk for hours). His Grandma and Grandpa, (Nana and Papa), James and Marilyn Wuttke, (Andrew loved seeing what card Nana was going to personally make for him on his birthday and Christmas), his Uncle and up north cabin roommate, Eric Olson, Aunt and Uncle Deb & Mark Soper, cousins Seger Soper, Brittany Soper, Lindsay Banasik and his furry best friend Baxter. Andrew is further survived by extended family, including his cousin and pal Jordan. He enjoyed spending time with his great aunt, uncles and second cousins. Andrew was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Dave Olson. Andrew was just a baby when his grandpa passed, but he loved to hear stories and learn about Grandpa Dave from Nanu.

Andrew, if love, tears, wishes and what ifs could bring you back, you would be walking through the door. We promise to take care of Baxter and your impressive vinyl collection.

We will always be the Wuttke5. Andrew would want something outside with good food, cold beverages, and loud music. We’ll cry a little, laugh a lot and share stories and good memories. We want to thank everyone for their kindness, love, support and sharing your stories of Andrew.

A Celebration of Andrew's Life will be held on Saturday, June 24th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Logger Field/Copeland Park and Event Center. A short Prayer Service will be held at 2:15 with Pastor Phil from Trinity Lutheran Church, We are asking people to consider wearing their favorite band shirt, The Office, Rick & Morty, Dr. Who, or anything Big Foot.
