Allan E. Anderson, 85 of Onalaska, WI., died on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Gundersen Health System, La Crosse. He was born in Whitehall, WI., on September 5, 1935 to Alvin and Corrinne (Fredrickson) Anderson. At the age of 17, Allan joined the United States Air Force and served for 7 years until he was honorably discharged. He married Darlene C. Davis and she preceded him in death on April 17, 2016. For 30 years Allan worked at Case International as a Heavy-Duty Transmission Installer/ Technician. Allan is survived by his son Eric J. (Gaytha J.) Anderson of Columbus, NE., grandchildren Angela (Josh) Watson of Yutan, NE., Jessica (Matt) Timm of Fremont, NE., Nicolas J. (Paige) Anderson of Lincoln, NE., Tony Swanda of Norfolk, NE., Alston Kavulak also of Norfolk, great grandchildren Alex, Lillian and Hayden Watson, Makenzie, Devin and Alivia Timm. He is further survived by his sister Christy Anderson of Boscobel, WI., nephew David (Joanie) Matteson of the Twin Cities, MN., niece Melissa (Rick) Ollerman of Littleton, NH., daughter in law Tammy (William) Scorby of Holmen, WI. and their children Stephen, Alex, Elizabeth and Annalee. Sons in law Robert Niemi of Dexter, MI., and Keith Freeman of Sparta, WI., also survive him. In addition to his wife Darlene, he was preceded in death by a sister June Matteson. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services Onalaska chapel; 907 Sand Lake Rd. Rev. Martin Yeager will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Saturday morning from 10am until the time of services.
