Alan E. Pedretti, 59, of La Crescent, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
Alan was born in La Crosse on October 18, 1958, the youngest of eight children born to Joffre and Lucille (Ender) Pedretti. He was raised in La Crescent and attended La Crescent schools.
Alan resided at ABLE Inc. in La Crescent for many years and made many friends there and at ABC Works. The pastimes Al enjoyed were people watching, eating a good meal and nature walks. Even though he was non-verbal throughout his life, Alan loved to be in the company of others.
He is survived by his siblings, Carol (John) Alameida of La Crescent, Daniel (Colleen) Pedretti of Dresbach, Donald Pedretti of La Crosse, Andrew (Linda) Pedretti of La Crescent, Mark (Rosalie) Pedretti of Onalaska, Matthew (Sharon) Pedretti of La Crescent and Marj (Chuck) Holden of Port Jervis, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members; and his many friends and staff from ABLE Inc. and ABC Works. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 1 st , at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Entombment will take place in the St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum in La Crosse. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday at the church. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crescent is assisting the family.Service Schedule
