Larry Allan Terlson, 65, died peacefully from cancer on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the home of his parents, Donald and Arlene Terlson. Larry was born on June 3, 1951 in La Crosse. He was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church, and was a graduate from Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Grade School and a 1969 graduate of Central High School. Hunting and fishing were his passion. After working at Country Kitchen and Herberger’s Menswear, Larry was employed by Alieska Oil Pipe Lines in Alaska. Following a tragic accident, he was disabled but found much pleasure in singing with the church choir and as a bass singer with the Coulee Chordsmen Chorus. He was a 14-year member of the SPEBSOSA, a singing society.
Larry is survived by his parents, Donald and Arlene Terlson, three sisters, Linda (Mike) Pack of Cleveland, WI, Sherry Terlson of La Crosse, and Terlene (Greg) Keller of Fishtail, MT, four nieces, five great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and one niece.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church. Pastor Robert Wassermann will officiate. Burial will be in the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Memorials may be given to Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Grade School, or Gundersen Health System Hospice Program.Friday, March 24, 2017
