Frederic Eugene Wagner

Frederic E. Wagner, 84 of La Crosse, Wis., died on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Gundersen Health System of La Crosse. He was born in Eastman, Wis. on February 16, 1933 to George and Ellen (Bankes) Wagner. He married the love of his life Norma I. Wallin in La Crosse on October 14, 2000. Fred was an avid baseball fan who loved the Chicago Cubs. Fred had worked for Trane Company for 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing poker and having coffee with his friends at Valley View Mall.

In addition to his wife Norma of La Crosse, he is survived by his daughters Roxie L. (Jim) Michalke of La Crescent, Minn., Rhonda R. (Wayne) Sackmaster of Black River Falls, Wis., six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers.

In keeping with Fred’s wishes, there will be no services.
