Rose Ann Bagniefski

Rose Ann Bagniefski, 84 of La Crosse, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Bethany On Cass Assisted Living Facility. She was born in Hennessey, OK., on September 15, 1932 to John and Emma (Rothermal) Mirkes. She married Donald A. Bagniefski on March 17, 1954 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hennessey, OK. Rose Ann had worked for fifteen years for the National Food Store of La Crosse as both a cashier and a bookkeeper. She was also very active in the St. Ann’s Altar Society at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two daughters Nancy (Jim) Jaekel of Stoddard, WI., Janet (Mike) Betting of Burnsville, MN., one son Andrew (Beth Eldred) Bagniefski of Shepherdsville, KY., her nine grandchildren; LeaAnne, Jennifer, Tony, Sam, Dawn, Marcey, Monica, Julissa and Annette; twelve great grandchildren and two sisters Rita O’Hern of Macomb, Il., and Lucy Turner of Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, one son Marcus and two brothers Nick and John Mirkes.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church; 1333 South 13th St. La Crosse. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate. Private family interment will take place at a later date in the Mormon Coulee memorial park. Friends may call on the family Friday morning at the church from 10am until the time of services.
