Patricia Ann Larson

Patricia Ann Larson, 81 of La Crosse died on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Bethany-St. Joseph Care Center. She was born April 14, 1935 in La Crosse to Orval and Pearl (Colby) Becker. Patricia graduated from La Crosse Central High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She worked as a real estate agent in the La Crosse area for a time. On May 1, 1954, she married Lester H. Larson and he preceded her in death in May 2012.
Patricia spent many enjoyable hours playing the organ, reading, playing scrabble, Yahtzee, embroidering quilt patches for family quilts, sharing tea with her sisters and brother and reminiscing about family life. She also enjoyed oil painting beautiful pictures. Patricia loved animals especially her cat and dogs. Her flower garden also brought her much joy.
Patricia is survived by two sons; Steven (Linda) of Carlisle, PA and Michael (Roseanna) of Madison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six sisters, La Vonne Berger of La Crosse, Marilyn Pfaff of Onalaska, Carole (Roger) Weeks of La Crosse, Diane Holte of Onalaska, Lynette (Joe) Lanzel of Arizona, Susan (Al) Spande of Onalaska and Janet (Wyman) Felde of De Soto; a brother, Orval E. (Carol) Becker of La Crosse; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Lester, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kenneth and a sister, Charlene Kacena.
A memorial prayer service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3rd at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse. Burial will follow in the Moen Cemetery, rural Cashton. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
