Glee R. Dollum

Glee Rudolpha Dollum, 92, formerly of La Crosse, died on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Our House Senior Living in Eau Claire, WI. She was born on February 9, 1924 in Belgrade, MN to Rudolph and Gena (Liabraaten) Quill. After high school Glee worked as a legal secretary and bailiff in Arizona, did payroll for Queen Stove Works in Albert Lea, MN, and also worked as a housekeeper. She married Robert J. Dollum on September 14, 1947 in Albert Lea. He preceded her in death in 1986. Glee was a member of the WELS Synod her entire life and was a soloist in several churches and sang for many weddings and funerals. Glee had 30 WELS pastors in her family.
Glee is survived by a sister, three nephews and a niece. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
A prayer service will be held for Glee on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, La Crosse, with Pastor Jonathan Rimmert officiating. Glee will be buried next to her husband in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
