Beverly J. Talg, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 5, 2016. She was born August 5, 1926, in Baraboo, Wis., to Robert and Lorene (Nelson) Barkenhagen.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Allyn Talg, of Durango, Colo.; nieces, Beth Steffen, Carol Cance and Leah Day; nephews, Wayne Blessman and Andrew Barkenhagen; great nieces and nephews, Jennifer Haak, Robert Barkenhagen IV, and Bret Steffen; and many other nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Irwin; her son, William Talg; her parents; her brother, Robert Barkenhagen II; and a nephew, Robert Barkenhagen III.
Beverly was a charter member of the Badger Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), holding all of the chapter’s offices at one time, and was also active in her church, Bethel Lutheran.
A memorial celebration is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15th, at the Faith and Life Center at Bethany-Riverside Nursing Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be given to Bethany-Riverside Nursing Home or to the Coulee Region Humane Society.
