Mark Kent Ferrier, 40, of La Crosse, died on Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Mark Kent Ferrier was born in La Crosse, WI on February 5, 1976, to Kent and Rita (Klinkner) Ferrier. He grew up in La Crescent where he attended Crucifixion Elementary School and was a 1994 graduate of La Crescent High School. He graduated from WWTC Wood Technics program and had previously been employed at Five Star Telecom of La Crosse, WI and Cleary Building Corp. of Sparta, WI. Mark was currently employed at Bobcat of the Coulee Region in Dresbach, MN as Sales Manager where he loved selling Bobcats and could often be seen at farm shows and in local parades driving the big red truck.
Mark loved the outdoors and was an avid motorsports enthusiast. Whether he was on jet skis, in a speedboat, riding an ATV, snowmobiling, or riding his Harley, Mark loved adventure and living life to the fullest. His piercing blue eyes and infectious smile could light up any party. Mark was a loyal friend and always looked forward to spending time with his buddies who all shared his passion for motorsports and good times. He adored spending time with his girlfriend, Nicole, whether they were on a motorcycle ride, attending various concerts, or traveling.
Mark enjoyed working on his house and family boathouse with his dad. He would often pop in for lunch dates with his mom to chat and get dessert. He was a loving and humorous uncle to his nieces, Ashlyn and Alayna, and shared many good times with his sister, Lori and brother-in-law Dean. Most importantly, Mark was an amazing and devoted father to his daughter, Kayla, whom he loved dearly. He read Dr. Seuss books to her at night and played Barbies with her during the day. They enjoyed spending time together exploring parks and were often found playing in the backyard with Mo and on Kayla’s newly built play set.
