Joseph John Koenig

Joseph John Koenig, 58, of Dakota, MN, died very suddenly by way of a tragic incident at home. Joe was born on November 6, 1957 in Caledonia, MN to Anthony John and Marie (Carroll) Koenig. He served for four years with the US Army. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He loved the Vikings, riding his Harley, and travelling with his wife Sherry.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, four children, Angela (Jesse) Wright, Meghan Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins, and Madison Koenig, two grandsons, Eli and Amos, and a third grandchild due in August, three sisters, and one brother. He was preceded in death by a son Anthony Koenig and his parents.

Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crescent, 111 So. Oak Street on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday with Pastor Dennis Harbach officiating.
