Darlene C. Anderson

Darlene C. ‘Dee’ Anderson, 74, of Onalaska passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born on June 30, 1941 in Waukegan, IL to Glen and Leona (Cain) Davis. She graduated from Zion - Benton Township High School in Zion, IL in 1959. She then attended College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL for one year obtaining a certificate in Computer Operations in 1987. On January 21, 1992 she married Allan Anderson in Kenosha, WI. Dee was an avid reader. She enjoyed being outside admiring the flowers and all the wildlife. She also loved her cats.
She is survived by her husband Allan, one daughter Tamara (Bill) Scorby of West Salem, WI, two sons Robert (Kim) Niemi of Dexter, WI and Keith Freeman of Sparta, WI, fifteen grandchildren Rissa, Stephen, Alex, Elizabeth, Annalee, Jonah, Ethan, Seth, Uriah, Silas, Salah, Abigail, Verity, Susanna and Jubilee, five sisters Louise Segrest of Bushnell, FL, Rose (Joe) Worley of Palm Coast, FL, Linda Maguire of West Plains, MO, Gloria (Ron) Parks of Zion, IL and Joan Zaragoza of Springfield, MO, three brothers Ken (Debbie) Richardt of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Mike Richardt of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Dan (Delilah) Van Dyke of Fair Play, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Helen Davis and a son Kenneth Niemi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska. Pastor Mark Brockberg will officiate. Burial will follow in Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service.
