Randy Beers, 62, of Onalaska went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 due to a motorcycle accident. He was born February 1st, 1954 in Fulton, MO., to James and Dorothy (Gieswein) Beers. Randy attended Campus School in La Crosse and was a 1972 graduate of Central High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and received an Associate Degree in Business Marketing from Western Wisconsin Technical College in 1974. Randy was the owner and operator of Randy Beers Auto Care in West Salem, Wisconsin and was a fixture in the local car business for many years. Randy enjoyed working on the family’s hobby farm near Viroqua, WI. He loved cooking for and entertaining his many friends, deer hunting, and fishing. Randy especially loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Randy was dearly loved by his friends, family and customers and will be profoundly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim in 1976 and Dorothy in 2015. He is survived by a sister, Janell (Randy) Newton of Lino Lakes, MN, nieces Elizabeth and Anna Newton, and countless other relatives and friends. He will be especially missed by companion, Elizabeth Temp of La Crosse, and his beloved dog and shop mascot Roxy.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse, 200 West Avenue So. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
