Betty Jane Sult, 84, of Holmen, has lost her battle with a severe illness on April 4, 2016. She was born on May 3, 1931 in La Crescent, MN to Edward and Eileen (Hanson) Raith. Betty was baptized and confirmed Lutheran. She had resided in La Crosse, Azusa, CA, Galesville and Holmen and had owned rental property in Blair, WI. Betty was a member of the International Association of Machinists (I.A. of M.) from which she worked for Parker Aircraft Company in Los Angeles, CA and the Rohr Aircraft Corporation in Chula Vista, CA. Betty drove school bus for Haney Bus Company in Los Angeles for 10 years. She also drove school bus and was a licensed California State Instructor for the Azusa Unified School District for 25 years. Betty was married to Charles Paris and they divorced. She then married Harvey Edward Sult with whom she had a son, James Edward Sult. They later divorced. She had a second son, Carl Lance (Sult) Lindsey with Carl Ray Lindsey. In addition to her two sons she is survived by a grandson Erik Brandon Lindsey, two sisters, Beverly Paar of La Crosse and Janice Paar of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Richard Paar, James Paar and Carl Paar Sr. Her family would like to give big thanks to Teri Rose and the entire Hospice Care team for your care and support for Betty during her difficult time. A special thanks also to Beverly Paar, Kevin Paar and Erik Lindsey for your help and support through Betty’s difficult times.
