Theresa A. Greeno

Theresa A. Greeno, 71 of La Crosse passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in La Crosse. She was born February 19, 1945 in Winona, MN to Robert and Violet (Stinson) Shaw and attended schools in La Crosse. She had worked as a store manager for McClellan’s Department Store in La Crosse and also in Monroe, WI for several years. She became store manager for the Jupiter Department store in La Crosse and then later worked for over 35 years for K-Mart on Losey Blvd. in the garden and toy sections.
Theresa enjoyed her time gardening and listening to country and rock and roll music.
She is survived by two sons; Brian (Jeannie) Greeno of La Crosse and Dan (Susan) Greeno of Dresbach, MN; a grandson, Joshua Greeno of La Crosse; three step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Colleen “Coke” Roberts of Dakota, MN and Kathy Neumann of West Bend, WI; many nieces and nephews and her longtime companion, Garnet Stigen of La Crosse. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tom Shaw; two brothers-in-law, John Neumann and Virgil Roberts.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse. Private family burial will take place in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery.
