Irma J Mclees

Irma J. (Reissman) McLees, 91, died peacefully on March 25th at the Clara House in La Crescent, MN, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 24, 1925, in La Crosse, WI to Bruno and Linda (Leber) Reissman. She was married July 30, 1950 to Donald McLees. Irma was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran church of La Crescent.

Irma is survived by three children: Diane (Gordon) Schroeder of Hokah, MN, Laurie (Scott) Doladee of Bensenville, IL and Curt (Nancy Anderson) McLees of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Carrie (Tim) Jensen, Ben (Giselle) Pralle, Jeff (Beth) Doladee, Kristin and Danielle Doladee, Carley (Jared) Schaffner, and Alex McLees; four great-grandchildren: Logan, Drew, and Abigail Schaffner and Zachary Doladee; a brother, Rolf (Betty) Reissman and a sister, Luise (Gil) Breeser. Irma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald.

Irma was primarily a homemaker, which she undertook with great pride. We will cherish forever our many memories and love-shared moments. Thank you, God, for our beloved Irma--loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00am in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 414 Main Street, LaCrescent, MN. The Reverend Chris Christensen will officiate. Family and friends may call from 9:30am until the time of the service at the church. Irma will be buried in the Stoddard City Cemetery, beside her beloved husband, Don. Memorials may be given to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Finally, the family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at LaCrescent Clara House for their loving care and support during Irma's stay there.
