Kevin Stuhr

Kevin R. Stuhr, 30 of La Crosse died on Monday February 15, 2016 at the Gundersen Health System as a result of an accidental heroin overdose. He was born September 12, 1985 in La Crosse to Kevin and Susan (Utecht) Stuhr. Kevin enjoyed hiking the bluffs and caves in search of rattlesnakes.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sue and Steve Reinsvold of La Crosse; his father Kevin Stuhr of Sparta; a brother, Justin Stuhr of La Crosse; a ½ brother, Cody Reinsvold of La Crosse; two ½ sisters, Katelyn Reinsvold of La Crosse and Jessica Stuhr of Sparta; a step-brother, Damien Reinsvold and a step-sister, Krista Reinsvold both of La Crosse; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Amierah Dolan who was born the day after Kevin’s birthday; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; his step-grandfather, Jack Reinsvold; his dog, Lexi and his tarantula, Rose. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 20th at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse with Derek Mueller officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of services. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
