Marilyn was well known for her compassion, friendship and patience. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and keeping in touch with friends and relatives. She loved to dance and was an active member of the Concordia Ballroom, Women of the Moose, and The Sons of Norway. She danced for several years with the Wegerland Dancers of the La Crosse Chapter of the Sons of Norway.
Marilyn worked at Kmart for several years and then at Lutheran Hospital before retiring.
Her family and friends were blessed to share her life and have very fond and joyful memories as she is remembered by her daughter, Susan (Larry) Kvamme of Battle Ground, Wash.; and sons, Daniel, Mark and Joseph all of La Crosse; granddaughter, Angela Schiller (Kvamme) of Vancouver, Wash.; and grandsons, Patrick Kvamme, Christopher Kvamme and Brandon Kvamme, all of Beaverton, Oregon area, and Scott Hammes of La Crosse. Marilyn treasured the time she had with her five great-grandchildren, Taner, Sydney and Hayden Schiller of Vancouver, Wash., and Holter and Parson Kvamme of Beaverton, Ore.
