Robert "Bobby" Luedtke

Robert “Bobby” F. Luedtke, 52, of La Crosse, died on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.
He was born in La Crosse on November 21, 1963, to Robert W. and Lois R. (Albrecht) Luedtke and was a graduate of La Crosse Central High School.  He married Jo Anne Atchinson and they later separated.
Bobby worked in auto body repair for many years at several La Crosse area car dealerships - working at Ray Hutson Chevrolet for the longest period of time. He also lived in Arizona for a number of years where he operated Cactus Shuttle. He returned to La Crosse about 18 months ago and worked briefly for Ace Hardware.
Bobby enjoyed water sports and bowling in his free time. He also loved country music and dancing.
He is survived by his mother, Lois, and stepfather, Don Juen; his stepmother, DonaLee Luedtke; his children, Bobby Luedtke (Janessa), Andy Senn (Casey), and Sarah Wagner (Paul); his six grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Taylor, Mason, Tia, Jackson, Eva and Noah; Don’s daughters, Kimberly Puchalski (Scott) and Jayne Niebuhr (Curt); his siblings, Deborah Smutny, Patricia Valentine, David Luedtke (Theresa) , Marlys Studer, Brian Studer (Jane), Lurene Kotek (Gary), and Elaine Viergutz (Bruce); many nieces and nephews and their families; and his former wife, Jo Anne. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Luedtke on December 25, 2014, and a brother-in-law, Charles Smutny.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse. Rev. Harald Bringsjord will officiate. Family and friends may call from noon until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
