Nora Marie Smith

Nora M. (Plunkett) Smith, 47 of La Crosse, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. The daughter of George A. and Suzanne M. (Beranek) Plunkett, she was born in Sparta, WI. on April 10, 1968. Nora had worked in many capacities for over 17 years at the Salvation Army of La Crosse where she had made many wonderful friends over the years.
She is survived by her husband Tim Smith of La Crosse, her son Shannon Standiford of La Crosse, her father George A. Plunkett of Nelma, WI, mother Suzanne Krause of Onalaska, WI, one sister Colleen (Frank) Kothbauer of Midland MI, three brothers Steven Suhr of Sparta, WI, Mike (chris) Suhr of Wilton, WI, Tom (Tina) Suhr of La Crosse; Father in Law Bobby Smith of La Crosse, Mother in Law Sharleen Timm of La Crosse, Sister in Law Brenda Kornmeyer of La Crosse and many other beloved family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse chapel; 200 West Ave. So. Major Jack L. Holloway will officiate. Visitation for friends and family will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Nora’s memory.
