Patricia Thomas

Patricia Thomas, 75, of La Crosse, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
She was born September 11, 1940, in La Crosse, to Edmund and Olive (Greer) Belongie. She grew up in La Crescent and graduated from Aquinas High School and Viterbo College, later earning a master’s degree from Central Michigan University.
Patricia married Stanley Thomas in 1963. They were married for 52 years. She worked at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, primarily as a medical technologist, for 43 years.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Stanley; son, Howard (Tama); daughter, Karine (Mike) Brueggen; five grandchildren, Marlowe, Max, Isaac, Ella and Henry; brother-in-law, Richard (Gail) Thomas; nieces, Tracy Thomas and Jessica Hanson; nephew, Matthew Hanson; and great niece, Judy Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Judy Hanson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 21st, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1010 Sill St., in La Crosse. Rev. Erik Feig will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Monday. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the church immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church’s From the Heart Food Pantry and the Children’s Clothes Closet.
