Ralph R. Mikshowsky, 83, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 6, 2015

Ralph was born on December 31, 1931 to Adolph and Bertha (Roesler) Mikshowsky. Ralph attended the Cleveland School on Hwy 33 and then the Middle Ridge School. On June 3, 1952 he married Evelyn Kammel. They pursued their love for farming and purchased Ralph’s home farm. His farming interests led him to establish Ralph’s Trucking which hauled bulk milk and cheese for the Newburgs Corner Cheese Factory. Then Ralph started a farming supply business. He had a strong Catholic faith and truly enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss him dearly.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife Evelyn of 63 years; 1 daughter and 3 sons; Connie (Mike) Miller of La Crosse, Randy (Sara) Mikshowsky of Bangor, Rick (Barb) Mikshowsky of Coon Valley, Larry (Donna) Mikshowsky of Bangor; 11 grandchildren, Laura (Jamey) Moore, Kristin (John) Engstrom,
Tara (Adam) Olson, Ashley Mikshowsky, Megan Mikshowsky (fiance Jason Levendoski),
Travis (Jade) Mikshowsky, Kassi (Garrick) Olerud, Cory Mikshowsky, Austin, Nicole, and Breanna Mikshowsky; 8 great-grandchildren and one more on the way;1 sister, Theresa Arentz of Bangor. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerald (Rosie) Kammel, Marian Roesler, Ettie (Bernie Thiele) Kammel, Donald (Pat) Kammel, Kenneth Kammel, Reiny (Darlene) Kammel, Marce (Syl) Liebl; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rudy and Lucy Kammel; 2 infant brothers; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Orena Mikshowsky; 4 sisters and brothers in-law, Bernadine and Ray Jungen, Marie and Elmer Servais, Mildred and Al Hammes, Margaret Martell and brother-in-laws Arnold Arentz, Bernard Hammes, Bob Roesler and Eugene Kammel; sister-in-laws Jean Kammel, and Carol Kammel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Ridge with Rev. Msgr. Robert Hundt, Rev. Timothy Welles and Deacon Robert Zietlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 4-7:30 PM where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM; and again on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass.

A heartfelt thank you to Char and Deacon Bob Zietlow with the St. Croix Hospice program, to Dr. William Calkins for his years of care and compassion, and to Father Tim Welles and Monsignor Hundt for their spiritual support.
