William A. Rea

William Allan Rea, 57, of French Island, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1957 in Beloit, WI to Stuart and Isabelle (Schricker) Rea. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1975. He married DeAnn Gardner on January 31, 1981. William had worked at Beloit Corp. as a mechanical engineer for about 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed the outdoors with his family. The last two months he spent enjoying retirement on French Island with his son Aaron.
He is survived by a daughter Wendy Kamppi of Beloit, WI, a son Aaron Rea of French Island, a sister Mary (Darell) Lawver of Michigan, a brother Stuart (Paula) Rea, Jr. of Beloit, WI, two nephews Mitchell and Phillip and also his Jack Russell Terrier ‘Eddie’. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be determined by the family and held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his children Wendy Kamppi and Aaron Rea. The Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
