Sofia Rose Whelan

Sofia Rose Whelan passed away at her home in La Crosse on Saturday, August 15, 2015. She was born to Meghan Whelan on May 24, 2014.
This little peanut was here for a short while, but touched many lives including LaVal Robinson (Meghan’s significant other), the birth to three program, and many, many family members. Sofia was beginning to crawl very fast and at times tried to escape out the front door. She was just beginning to stand and surf furniture.
Sofia is survived by her mother, Meghan Whelan, and two big sisters, Olivia Berhow and Mollie Whelan. She was preceded in death by great grandparents and her big brother, Mitchell Allen Berhow.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 24th, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse. Rev. Peter Raj will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call from noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
