Geraldine "Geri" Nedvidek passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning, August 15th. Geri was born in La Crosse to Ferdinand "Bud" Krause and Luella (Monti) May 15, 1935. Geri married Kenneth Nedvidek October 19th, 1957. Geri ran her own upholstery shop (Geri's Upholstery) out of her shop on the farm for over 35 years. She taught upholstery for Western Technical College until she retired. Geri was a founding Member of Tops WI 592 for over 50 years and will be dearly missed by all her Tops friends.
She is survived by her husband, children Dean Nedvidek, Jolyn (David) Oelfke, and John Nedvidek, her granddaughter Hilary, her sisters Shirley (Ron) Foellmi, Lola (Jerry) Bott, brothers Willard (Ann) Krause, Edward Krause, and Rolland Krause, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Holmen. Rev. John Parr will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
