Jackson Family

Houston, TX- mother, father and 6 children ages 40, 50, 13,11,10,9,7 and 6 passed away tragically as the result of a homicide on Saturday, August 8th in their home.
Mother, Valerie Ann Conley-Jackson was born June 18, 1975 in Black River Falls, WI. Husband Dwayne Clifford Jackson Sr. was born March 18, 1965 in Chicago Ill. Valerie's eldest daughter, Natalie Conley is the only surviving child. Her siblings, Nathaniel Nicholas Conley born September 12, 2001; Honesty Faith Jackson born January 18,2004; Dwayne Clifford Jackson Jr. born November 21, 2004; Caleb Curtis Jackson born April 20, 2006; Trinity Hope Jackson born May 21, 2008; Jonah Curtis Jackson born July 23, 2009 were also victims of this horrific tragedy. Many of these innocent children had special needs and all attended school in Houston, Texas. Valerie was a loving homemaker and mother of 7; Although Dwayne was the father of 5 of these children, he raised Nate as his own. He was a certified chef currently employed at the Houston zoo. Domestic violence played a huge part in this horrific situation the significance needs to be recognized to establish more awareness of domestic violence and how serious it can be.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the La Crescent United Methodist Church. Pastor Greg Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prince of Peace Cemetery, rural La Crescent. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening at the church from 4 until 7pm and again at the church on Thursday from noon until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred
