Richard C. Brown

Richard C. Brown, 84 of La Crosse, WI, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Hillview Healthcare Center. He was born in La Crosse on March 24, 1931 to William and Annette (LeJeune) Brown. Dick had proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and formerly was an active member of the Coulee Kennel club.
He is survived by his two daughters; JoAnne (David) Proger of Rayland, OH, Dedra Lanzel of La Crosse, five loving grandchildren, three loving great-grandsons and his siblings; Rita (Phil) Hutson of La Crescent, Jack (Mary) Brown of Midland, TX, Ken (Nancy) Brown of Appleton, WI, and Bill (Ellie) Brown of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife LaVonne (Weigel) Brown.
Memorial services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at English Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Vicar Dan Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Dick’s memory.
