How do we say goodbye?
We don't, because a part of you has stayed behind.
A part of you is forever in our hearts.
Every time we see our children smile and laugh we will see your twinkle in their eyes.
Every time we cast a line we know that you will be right beside us, helping us bring in the big one.
Every time we play a game of Solitaire we will hear your voice pointing out a move we've missed.
We never have to say goodbye, just so long for now, and treasure the knowledge that one day we will be together again in all if His glory, and that you will continue to live in our hearts.
