Verna Mae Randall, 73, of Genoa, died on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Benedictine Manor of La Crosse. She was born on December 7, 1941 in La Crosse to William and Helen (Hammer) Flannery. Verna graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic High School in Hokah. She married Tom Randall on November 30, 1963 in Brownsville, MN. Verna worked as the Town Clerk in Genoa for 17 years. She loved the outdoors, turkey hunting, deer hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers.
She is survived by her husband Tom, three children, Randy (Kim) Randall of Chaseburg, Annette (Rick) Randall-Grimes of Vinton, IA, and Bob Randall of Coloma, WI, four grandchildren, Kasey (Jacquelyn) Kreuzer, Tia Nagle, Nathan (Brittany) Randall, and Nick Randall, one great-grandson Wade Kreuzer, and a sister Marian Lynch of Houston, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother William Flannery, a sister Mitzy Rothman, and her father and mother-in-law, Nathan and Ann Randall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church, Genoa. Rev. William Dhein will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse on Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM
