Jean A Kroner

Jean A. Kroner, 93, of La Crosse, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hillview Health Care Center in La Crosse. She was born on January 9, 1922 in Omaha, NE to Edward and Agnes (Kopietz) Lindsay. Jean worked for 30 ½ years at Trane Company in La Crosse. She loved to sew and was passionate about the care and rights of animals. She also loved her Scottish heritage and listening to bagpipes. Jean and her husband Fred use to love to square dance and march with the piper’s in local parades.
Jean is survived by her children, Kathleen (Frank) Brodbeck of La Crosse and Kristine Kroner of Ambler, PA, four grandchildren, Lisa (Curt) Zobeck, Bradley Holthaus, Kimberly (Shawn) Hanson, and Jamie (Adam) Kremer, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fred.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse, 200 West Avenue So. Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services.
At this time, Jean’s family would like to take the time to say thank you to all the people who knew, loved, and took care of her throughout her life, especially Hillview Health Care Center.
