Janet Oseth

Janet Oseth, 87, of La Crosse, died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in her home. She was born on July 11, 1927 in Caledonia, MN to Earl and Lillie (Staggemeyer) Schoh. Janet married Floyd A. Oseth on May 30, 1947 in Eitzen, MN. Janet and Floyd enjoyed travelling all over the country. She was an excellent cook, homemaker and gardener, and enjoyed sports, especially the Brewers, and her birds. Most of all she loved her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is survived by a son Dennis (Nadia) Oseth, a daughter Lynn Curti, three grandchildren, Bob Curti, Travis Curti and Jennifer Karius, three great-grandchildren, Danielle, Kylie and Kara Curti, five brothers and sisters, Leon (Jane) Schoh, Gaylord (Ruby) Schoh, Joyce (Donald) Bakke, Joseph (Pat) Schoh, and Lilah (Butch) Troendle, a sister-in-law Annette Schoh, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, a granddaughter Amanda Oseth, and a brother Donald.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse. Pastor Luanne Sorenson will officiate. Committal service will be in the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
