Bonnie Bea Gillette

Bonnie Bea Gillette, 72 of La Crescent, MN, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on April 28, 1942 to Jerome and Doris (Miller) Baker. On October 29, 1960 she married Tom Gillette. Bonnie had worked for the G. Heilman Brewing Co. for 16 years and in the Laundry facility at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare.
In addition to her husband Tom of La Crescent, she is survived by her three sons; Jeff (Tammy) Gillette and their children Cole and Cory; Jay (Tracy) Gillette and their children Jaymee and Craig; Jim (Carmela) Gillette and Jim's daughter Rebecca Humfeld. She is further survived by two great grandchildren Dayton and Ayllisa and one brother Charles Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Marion and a step brother Lloyd.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4 until 6 pm on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crescent chapel; 111 South Oak Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and may be directed to the La Crescent Animal rescue Shelter; 523 South Chestnut St., La Crescent, MN 55947.
