Katira Ayn Everett

On Sunday, March 22nd, Katira Ayn Everett, age 18, of Onalaska, Wisconsin, passed away at home. She was born July 29, 1996, to Mary (Andrus) and Ethan Everett in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Katira is survived by her parents and her siblings, Lucas, 26 (Megan), Isaac, 23, and Telia West, 21 (Jonathan).

Katira was a passionate student and loved to read. She loved puns, music, and excelled at photography. Her smile and laugh brought joy and love to all those that knew and interacted with her. She was a graduate of Onalaska High School, Class of 2014, and a member of Badger Girls State 2013. Katira had just completed one semester at LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Katira graduated from the LDS Seminary in Onalaska, Wisconsin and was preparing to serve a mission for her church. She had a great love for the Gospel and The Book of Mormon.

Funeral services will be held at noon, this Saturday, March 28th, at the local chapel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 701 Well St., Onalaska, Wisconsin 54650. Family and friends may call from 10:00 until 11:45 a.m., on Saturday, at the church. Katira loved nature and would appreciate flowers. We would also encourage memorial donations in remembrance which we will forward to causes that were near to Katira.
