Barbara Ann Knudtson

Barbara Ann “Bobbi” Knudtson, 79, of Holmen, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Bethany – Riverside Nursing Facility. She was born on September 6, 1935 to Frank and Rowena (Kerr) Nanscawen. Bobbi was a longtime employee of Park Bank in Holmen. She loved God, her husband, her kids and work. She enjoyed playing dice, dominoes, card games and computer games. She took pleasure in creating crafts by knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching, which she passed on to her children and grand-children. Her unique baby blankets became wonderful keepsakes for many. Her hobbies included bowling, fishing and bird watching, specifically Humming Birds in her backyard. Her favorite flower was pansies. She was a very charitable person who gave to a lot of charities. She always made a point to buy something to donate to Toys for Tots every year. Bobbi always called on everyone’s birthday to wish them a Happy Birthday. Bobbi’s life was full!
She is survived by her husband Leslie, daughters Vicki (Steven) Lange of Onalaska, Carol (Thomas) Bernett of Prescott, WI and Bonne (Brady) Harding of Onalaska, sons Rick (Valerie) Bay of Rapid City, SD and Frank (Cheryl) Bay of Holmen: Step children Michael (Cherie) Knudtson of Holmen and Lori (David) Stetzer of Bangor, WI: Grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas, Megan, Matthew, Marissa, Frank, Cassandra, Jessica, Abigail, Thomas, Bambi, Tucker and Gabby; Step-grandchildren, Matthew, Corey, Brandon, Kyle, Jacob and Kiley; Great Grandchildren Jensen, Nathan, Izaac, Kianah, Kolton, Marek, Malina and Miriam; Step-great-grandchild, Tristan; Sisters Sharon (Larry) Norris of La Crosse, Sylvia ‘Cookie’ Kraus of La Crosse and Jacquelyn ‘Jackie’ Kaemmer of Lake Butler, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Schumacher- Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Pastor Dan Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
