Beverly A. Fee, 92 of Onalaska, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Onalaska Care Center. She was born in La Crosse on December 11, 1922 to Charles and Anna (Patschull) Larson. She married William Fee in La Crosse on May 5, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1989.
Beverly together with her husband had owned and operated Bev and Bill’s Bar of Onalaska for many years. In 1996 she was named “Nakomis Grandmother of the year”. She was a member of the Onalaska American Legion Auxillary and was also actively involved in both her grand and great grandchildren’s lives. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Onalaska Care Center and the caring staff of Saint Jude’s Hospice.
She is survived by her children, Sandy (John) Krajewski of Bangor, WI, Judy (Deacon Bob) Zietlow of Onalaska, Bud (Nancy) Fee of Onalaska, Terry (Jody) Fee of Onalaska, ten grandchildren, twenty three great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and two sisters in law, Darlene Larson and Bev Larson. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, February 23, 2015 at First Lutheran Church in Onalaska. Pastor Jason Stanton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 pm at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services Onalaska chapel; 907 Sand Lake Rd. Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday from 10am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated in Bev’s memory.
