Donna Jean Folcey

Donna J. Folcey, 76 of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Bethany Riverside care facility. Donna was born in La Crosse on October 2, 1938 to Leonard and Marguerite (Harwick) Arentz. She was a 1956 graduate of Central High school. In 1957 she married James A. Folcey and they later divorced. Donna had worked in the Administration building at Trane Co. for forty years. Among the many things she enjoyed, first and foremost was spending time with her family. She also loved country music, reading, watching the Green Bay Packers and traveling. She also enjoyed her trips to the casinos and Las Vegas.
She is survived by her two sons Tony (Robyn) Folcey of Hokah, MN, Jim (Jackie Haas) Folcey of La Crosse, one daughter Jeanne (Rod) Riley of La Crosse, grandchildren Callie Folcey of La Crosse, Thomas (Casey) Buchner of South Beloit, IL., Megan (Brandon McHugh) Buchner of Minneapolis, MN, great grandchildren Emma Jean and Haylie Buchner and best friend and love for 30 years, Jerry McCracken. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Leonard D. Arentz, her step- father Floyd Payne and her puppy “Maggie”.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Lighthouse for the wonderful care they provided for Donna during her stay. A private family memorial service followed by burial in the Rockland Cemetery will be held at a later date.
