Shirley was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. She married Bernard J. Mysliwiec on February 9, 1957 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Shirley enjoyed knitting her dishrags, gardening, golfing, bowling, and trips to Pennsylvania and Green Bay to visit family.
