Cecelia Knutson

Cecelia H. Knutson, 102, of La Crosse, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in her home. She was born on November 25, 1912 in Anoka, MN to John and Ida (Sackreuter) Gamoke.
She is survived by four daughters Kathryn Dresen of Mesa, AZ, Margie (Neil) Baumgartner of Cogan Station, PA, Marlene Schelbe of La Crosse and Pat (Hollis) Goede of La Crosse, one son Dave Knutson of La Crosse, eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Theron, a daughter Donna Stingl, sons-in-law Richard Dresen, Richard Schelbe and Donald Stingl, a daughter-in-law Diane Knutson, a grandson Randy Flock and a granddaughter June Baumgartner. The family would like to thank the staff of 7th Floor Medical at Mayo Health System and Mayo Hospice for the excellent care given to Cecelia.
Private family services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
