Faye M. LeJeune, 89, of Brownsville, MN, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Valley View Healthcare in Houston, MN. She was born in Caledonia, MN, on January 15, 1925, to Charles and Leona (Hanke) Vodraska. On August 13, 1946, she married Eugene LeJeune in La Crosse. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2005. Faye had worked as a seamstress for La Crosse Garment Company for many years until her retirement in 1987. She had lived her entire life in Brownsville, and was a longtime member of Zion Evangelical Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debra (John) Hickey of Houston, MN and Rebecca (Darrel) Gregerson of Brownsville; and three sons, Charles (Susan) LeJeune, Jeffrey (Diane) LeJeune, and Douglas (Terri) LeJeune all of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren, Bradley, Jared, Michelle, Chad, Amy, Renee, Troy, Jamie, Todd, Jessica and Nathan; 27 grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Traff of LaCrescent, MN and Linda Amann of LaCrosse, WI; five sisters-in-law, Marie (Donald) Servais, Betty (Virgil) Meinking, Carol (Dale Beier) Marx, Delores LeJeune of LaCrosse and Rosie LeJeune of Coon Valley; one brother-in-law, Gerald “Buck” (Linda) LeJeune of LaCrosse.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Zion Evangelical Church in Brownsville. Pastor Jason Brannan will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of LaCrescent, MN, and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
