Jane A. Loeffler

Jane A. Loeffler, 83 of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Hillview Healthcare Center, La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on December 28, 1930 to John J. and Frieda A. (Betz) Fuchsel. She married Eugene E. Loeffler on January 5, 1947 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Jane had worked as a bookkeeper in the front office at K-Mart foods for 25 years. In later years, Jane and Eugene owned and operated Mohawk Valley Camper sales.
She is survived by one daughter Diane Kelleher of Robbinsdale, MN, three sons David E. (Lynda) Loeffler of La Crosse, Dr. Don C. (Tracey) Loeffler of Plano, TX, James M. (Nancy) Loeffler of La Crosse, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one brother John “Jack” (Mary Ann) Fuchsel of Winona, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Pastor Richard Pamprin will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Wednesday morning at the church from 10am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Jane’s memory.
