Marilyn J. Snow, 72 of Onalaska passed away in her home on Monday, October 6, 2014.

She was born November 5, 1941 in La Crosse to Rose (Tiffany) and Edward Becker. Marilyn graduated from Aquinas High School in 1959. She went on to pursue a nursing degree from St. Francis School of Nursing in La Crosse. Marilyn was a dedicated nurse and took great pride and pleasure touching the lives of her patients and their families. She was employed by Mayo Clinic Healthcare System as a registered nurse where she worked for over 40 years.
She enjoyed travelling to places such as Ireland, Greece, Egypt and Rome. Marilyn was an avid reader and loved to cook and try new foods and recipes. She married Richard Snow in 1962 and they later divorced. Together they had five children.

Marilyn is survived by her children; Colleen (Paul) Allen of Hartland, WI, Jacinda Gerrard of Madison, WI, Juanita (Keven) Chen of San Antonio, TX, Melita (Bailey) Wilson of La Crosse and David (Anne) Snow of La Crescent, MN; 18 grandchildren, Elizabeth, David, Jackson, Savannah and Natalie Allen; Alex, Grace and Olivia Gerrard; Sarah and Jenna Leseman; Madison Chen; Eva, Gage, Henry, Frank and Olive Wilson; Avrie and Emma Snow; one great-granddaughter, Juliet Mueller; one brother, Joseph (Carol) Becker of La Crosse, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers; David, Donald, Paul, Daniel, Merle and Lyle Becker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 10th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Onalaska with Monsignor Steven Kachel officiating. Burial will follow in Crucifixion Catholic Cemetery in La Crescent. Friends and family may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. where a prayer service will be held at 5:00 P.M.; and again at the church on Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Memorial gifts may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Madison Chapter-Team Name “Amazing Grace” in honor of her granddaughter, Grace Gerrard; 2990 Cahill Main Suite 202, Fitchburg, WI 53711.
