David Keith Davis

David Keith Davis, 74, of La Crosse, died on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Dave was born on April 28, 1940, in Gilmanton, Wisconsin.

Survivors include his siblings: Doris (Pat) Coughlin, Kathy (Paul) Nichols, Carla (Clyde) Lessard, and John (Rose) Peterson; and their children, Michael Dobrunz and Debra (Ted) Johnson, Gina Boisen and Daniel Muth; Jamey, Matt, Desirae and Brianna Lessard; Benjamin, Samuel, Sarah and Zachary Peterson; and numerous great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Peterson; brother, Peter Peterson; and sister, Karen Ehlers.

Dave was a quiet, gentle man, whose wants and needs were simple. He most enjoyed family gatherings and living close to downtown where he could go to the Food Co-Op and get his cup of coffee and sweet treat every day.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 9th, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse located at 200 West Ave. So. Rev. Mark Jolivette will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
