Eileen D. Wright

Eileen D. (Felt) Wright, 93 of La Crosse, passed away at the Bethany Riverside nursing facility on Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born in La Crosse on January 20, 1921 the daughter of Harry and Stella (Beranek) Fillner. In 1937 she married Lawrence Felt and they later divorced. In 1948 she married Roy Wright. Eileen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking the holiday meals and found relaxation in playing Euchre and Cribbage with family and friends. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s sporting events and Sundays were special to her because of watching the Packers, eating lunch and going to Mass.
She is survived by her three children, Walter Felt, Terry (Barbara) Felt, Jane (David) Kruck, nine grandchildren, Greg, Susan and Chris Felt, Michelle Johnson, Jody, Joe and Tony Felt, David Kruck Jr., Jennifer Tenn and also nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, one brother Harry Fillner and daughter in law Jerelyn.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in La Crosse. Rev. Peter Raj will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Eileen’s memory.
