Wayne L. Koch

Wayne L. Koch, 92, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Clare Bridge of La Crosse. He was born on October 12, 1921 in La Crosse to Rudolph and Minnie (Loitz) Koch. Wayne graduated from Central High School in 1939. He worked as a commercial fisherman for many years. He then spent 23 years working at UW-La Crosse as a custodian.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Rev. Roger Sachs will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
