B.A, Doc Jahimiak, 93, of La Crosse, died on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Hillview Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Doc was born on November 26, 1917 in Trempealeau, WI to Theodore and Anna (Frasch) Crivits. She married Ralph W. Jahimiak on May 14, 1940 in the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman, La Crosse. Doc was a loving wife of 57 years until Ralphs death in 1997, a wonderful mother and she inspired and motivated her children to be their best. Doc was admired by all for her kind heartedness, knowledge, wisdom and patience. Doc enjoyed the domestic skills of cooking, baking, and especially making her fabulous coconut oatmeal raisin cookies and banana bread for her family and friends. Let us not forget those Losey Boulevard specialty cookies. She was also a master at sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, crafts, gardening, cards and golfing. She would humbly tell of her two holes-in-one and was a member of the Coulee Golf Bowl Ladies Club. Doc loved playing cards and winning with a loner at euchre tournaments in her younger days or at family gatherings. In retirement, Doc traveled extensively with her husband, Ralph, wintering in Florida, the southwest, Texas and RVing throughout Mexico, even Central America. Doc was very faithful to her Catholic beliefs and devoted to her family. She was the best.

She is survived by four children, Joan Jahimiak of Weslaco, TX, David Jahimiak of La Crosse, Bonnie (Bob) Cummings of La Crescent, MN and Paul (Jan) Jahimiak of Silver City, NM, seven grandchildren, David (Sue) Ganschow, Laura (Bobby) Wieczorek, Peter (Chris) Carlson, Megan (Andrew) Anderson, Jacob Jahimiak, Heather (Charlie) Stephenson, Lindsay (Grant) Lenzen, and, seven great-grandchildren, Johanna, Lydia, Jeremiah, Lucas, Claire, Lola Rae, and James as well as many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph, her mother Anna and two brothers, Woodrow and Paul.
