Kens vivacious personality made him extremely successful in sales for most of his life. He had a sense of humor that brightened the lives of everyone he touched. He will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Sarah (Sally), children, Cheri (Steve) Judkins of Sullivan, WI, Christi Ranta of Hartford, WI, Cathy (Jerry) Cigelske of Cambria, WI, Michael Schumacher (Takeshi Imae) of Vancouver, B.C., Stephani Doege of West Allis, WI and stepchildren, Rita (Rick) Schiver of Kempner, TX and Mark (Merrie) Ekern of Buckeye, AZ. His grandchildren, William Schumacher of Little Rock, AR, Travis and Race Ranta of Hartford, WI, Aysha (Pablo) Dominguez of Beaver Dam, WI, Sierra and Amber Young of Cambria, WI, Marissa Doege of West Allis, WI and step-granddaughters, Jacklyn Ekern and Amy (Keith) Ryan of La Crosse, WI will greatly miss their grandpas sunny smile and amusing jokes. He will be missed by his siblings Eleanor DeKoch and Jerry (Mary) Schumacher of Kimberly, WI and Dennis (Judy) Schumacher of Hiles, WI. Further survived by sister-in-laws Rachel Wason of Sun City West, AZ, Carol Corcoran (Adolph Johnson) of Galesville, WI, Diane (Bill) Moran of Balsam Lake, WI, Peggy (Bob) Halmrast of Northfield, MN, brother-in-law Fred (Bev) Sacia of Trempealeau, WI and brother and sister-in-law Ben and Nancy Wilkinson of Bloomington, WI along with 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives. Ken brightened the lives and lifted the spirits of everyone around him everyday. We will all keep him in our memories and prayers forever.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Catherine Schumacher, wife Susan, mother and father-in-law Lenora and Ethan Sacia, step-daughter Patricia Sheehan, brother-in-law Charles DeKoch, sister-in-law Gloria Elkins Irvine, son-in-law Bryan Doege, grandson Dustin Doege and step-grandson Dean Marsh.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Onalaska. Rev. Steven Kachel will officiate. Burial will follow in the French Island Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will also be held at the church Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ember Care Assisted Living facility in Surprise, AZ and Hospice of the West Arizona for their compassionate care. Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
