Evelyn C Chapiewsky

Evelyn C. Chapiewsky, 98, of La Crosse, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Hillview Health Care Center. She was born on August 17, 1913 in Middle Ridge, WI to Anton and Wilomena (Kumm) Chapiewsky. Evelyn was a woman of strong faith. She was raised catholic and attended St. Peters Catholic Church in Middle Ridge. After moving to La Crosse she became a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman. Evelyn considered the church to be a part of her family life. She was a diehard democrat and loved to talk politics.

She is survived by two nieces, Audrey Petrella and Barbara Nonziata, both of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Hartley and Elaine Kaiser, and a nephew, Richard Hartley.

There will be no services. Her cremated remains will be interred in the Catholic Cemetery.
