Cindy Gunderson

margin: 0in 0in 10pt; Cindy S. Gunderson, 47, of La Crosse, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. La Crosse has lost one of its prettiest smiles. She was born on January 31, 1964 in La Crosse to Robert and Shirley (Kotlarz) Hanson. Cindy graduated third in her class at Logan High School in 1982. She lived a full and happy life filled with the love of her family, friends and hobbies. Anyone who knew or saw Cindy is probably in one of her photos. She married Doug Gunderson on May 3, 1986 and they had two children whom she gave everlasting love and joy to. Her love of photography and family helped her overcome many of the troubles of her illnesses. She was also an avid writer and was able to keep journals for others to have after she passed.

Besides her husband, Douglas, Cindy is survived by her parents, her daughter; Amie (James) Gilles, a son; Jeremy, her sister; Debby and her brother; David (Sue). She is also survived by her niece; Emily Hanson and granddaughter Tabitha Gilles as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her two grandmothers; Helen Hanson and Marion Andre.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 3 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse, from 10 am until 1 pm. Online guestbook is available at www.schumacher-kish.com.
